How to Complete Unknown Shipping in Warzone 2 DMZ: All Contraband Package Locations

I have spent a lot of time in DMZ chasing down contraband packages, and Unknown Shipping is one of those missions that sounds easy until you actually start swimming around Al Mazrah. The mission asks you to find and extract three Contraband Packages from sunken ships in Al Mazrah, then two more on Ashika Island. If you die before you exfil with a package, it will not count, so plan your route carefully. Here is everything I know about completing Unknown Shipping as of 2026.

Before I get into coordinates, here is what you are working with. Unknown Shipping is a Tier 2 White Lotus mission that originally showed up in Season 4. It used to be called Salvager, but the package spawns did not change much. The reward is a Contraband Crossbow and 7,500 XP, so it is worth doing if you want a fun secondary weapon without burning a normal insured slot.

Al Mazrah: The First Three Contraband Packages 🌊

These packages are the main reason people get stuck. Al Mazrah has a lot of water, and two of the ships are easy to spot, but the third is completely underwater and does not show up on the map. I recommend bringing a boat and a rebreather if you have one.

1. Sawah Village Ship Wreckage 🚢

The first Contraband Package is inside the ship wreckage at Sawah Village. Head into the room adjacent to the main wreckage area and look for a table on the right-hand side. The package is sitting right there. Sawah Village can be very contested by AI, so I usually approach from the sea and climb in through a lower opening instead of walking through the middle of the village.

2. Larger Sunken Ship East of Sawah Village ⚓

The second package is on the larger sunken ship east of Sawah Village. Make your way to the Mess Hall on the starboard side of the vessel. The package is hidden beneath a stack of tables, so you might need to crouch or look at a low angle to see it.

3. Hidden Ship on the Seabed 🤿

The third package is the tricky one. The ship is fully underwater and does not appear on the map. It sits between the previous ship and another ship that barely pokes out of the water. Dive straight down to the seabed, then check the bridge wing on the port side. The Contraband Package is lying there out in the open.

Once you grab all three, do not get greedy. Head to an exfil and leave. If you go down in the water or get ambushed on the way out, those packages will not count for the mission.

Ashika Island: The Final Two Contraband Packages 🏝️

Ashika Island is a much easier second half. Both packages are in the Shipwreck area, and the ships are close together. I usually do this part in one quick run if my spawn is anywhere near the coast.

1. Southern Ship in the Shipwreck Area 📦

The first package is on the southern ship. Look for a pool of water inside the ship, directly next to the H.M.S Shipwreck Cache. The package is sitting in that little flooded area, so do not overthink it.

2. Northern Ship Bow 🧭

The second package is even simpler. Head to the ship directly north of the first one and walk toward the bow. The package is easy to spot near that end, so grab it and immediately start planning your exfil path.

Tips for Clearing Unknown Shipping ✅

• 🚤 Use a boat for the Al Mazrah section, but park it away from the wrecks so AI do not blow it up.

• 🤿 Bring a rebreather or equip a pistol that works well underwater. The third Al Mazrah ship is deep, and every second counts.

• 🔫 Clear AI around Sawah Village before looting if you are playing solo. One unlucky shotgun blast can end the run.

• 📦 On Ashika Island, the two packages are close enough that you can check both in under a couple of minutes.

• 💨 Remember that extraction is the real objective. A package in your backpack only matters if you actually leave with it.

Once you finish the Ashika part, you should unlock the Contraband Crossbow reward and bank that 7,500 XP. It is a nice little mission because the reward is unique, and the underwater search makes the Al Mazrah leg feel like a proper scavenger hunt.
